This course is designed for
students who have a strong background in chemistry (usually two chemistry
courses in high school) and will emphasize concepts and skills that are not
frequently taught in high school classrooms. Some ideas will be review for you;
some will be new. This course is not necessarily harder than CHE 131 + CHE 132, but it is faster because you’ve seen
some of these ideas before. We will work together to ensure that everyone in
our class has a firm foundation in chemistry from which to launch into your
direction of interest.
